The Day of Independence in Ancient Kiev will host a show of historical characters

August 24, 25 and 26 in the Principality "Kievan Rus" will celebrate Independence Day of Ukraine with interesting shows and fascinating entertainments. The program will begin with a parade of historical characters: from the Scythian king, to the leader of the tribe Drevlyan and the glades, the founder of the city of Kiya and his brothers Shchek, Horeb and Lybid's sister, Oleg and Igor, Princess Olga, Svyatoslav the Brave, Vladimir the Great, Yaroslav the Wise, Anna Yaroslavna , Vladimir Monomakh, Alexander Nevsky and the company of Prince Vladimir, which will later show the Middle Ages in the reconstruction of the armor of soldiers of the XIV-XV centuries. Before the eyes of the guests in the historical costumes will appear figures who played a key role in the history of Ukraine. And then - a solemn parade of prince's flags from the mounted standard bearers.

On the 24th, 25th and 26th of August, a solemn procession to the Church of St. Basil will be held. The priest will read the Thanksgiving Moleben for independence. After that, the theatrical performance "For the Freedom of Ukraine" is waiting for the guests of Ancient Kyiv at the foreplay of the Predgradia. During it, the Serpent will take the Slav woman into captivity, and only a brave warrior will be able to release her from bondage. The scene takes in its basis the ancient legend and in fascinating and simultaneously philosophical form it will show the way of our state to independence.

Then the guests will receive an interactive interview and glorification of all regions of Ukraine, including the Crimea. Archangel Michael together with the Slavic will tell you extremely interesting facts about each region and once again they fall in love with the guests in Ukraine.

And of course, for two days the guests are waiting for theatricalization about the distant historical events - the legends of the life of glades and drevlyans, about Andrew the First-Born, about Oleg and Askold. Then before the eyes of the guests of Ancient Kiev there will be princely warriors on battle horses and will show horse drill training and stunts on horses. A wide variety of historical events will create a sense of immediate existence in the past. Allegedly, by the time machine the guests will move to the times of the great epoch, where honor and glory were won by wise decisions and victories on the battlefield.

And then everyone who wishes can join the numerous entertainments on the lists: merry round dance and flash mobs, tug of war, running along serpentine. Guests of the holiday will be able to pass a master class on the possession of swords and spears. Having put on a helmet and taking up a shield, they can try themselves as a participant in the medieval battle.

right will be the evening program for two days. In the sky, the burning cores, released from the ancient missile weapon - take off, and on August 24, the guests will also see a spectacular fire show. The program will end with a bright action near the Forest Lake on August 24 at 23:00, on August 25 at 22:00.

A feeling of adrenaline for the guests will be provided by the fascinating zipline Politailo, on which everyone can not only descend from a height, but also fly over the lake.
